Many children and adults are dying or getting hospitalized due to diseases which could easily be prevented by vaccination. Immunization is one of the most important developmental hurdles of India giving rise to poverty. As on today more than 40% of infants & children are not fully immunized with critical vaccines which are freely available from government due to poor accessibility of existing services.
Jivika Foundation aims to serve underprivileged population by taking vaccination service near to their community to immunize all.
At the same time few critical vaccines important for infants, adolescent girls & elderly people are not covered by government. These lead to catastrophic hospitalization expenses for poor along with millions yearly deaths. Jivika Foundation aims to serve underprivileged population by taking vaccination service near to their community to immunize infants, children & adults with free vaccines in collaboration with government & various funding partners.
